Networks play an integral role in the operation of any organization as they provide connectivity and facilitate communication. Due to their essential nature, there is a significant need to keep them secure. Network Security refers to the measures taken by any enterprise or organization to secure its computer networks and data from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, or destruction using both hardware and software systems. This aims at securing the confidentiality, integrity and accessibility of the network.
